Buying Wholesale Motor Oil for Export: EXW From Miami Explained

Por Danilo Hernandez, CFO18 de junio de 2026Actualizado 17 de julio de 20261 min de lectura

What EXW Means for Motor Oil Export

American Oil Wholesale exports on EXW (Ex Works) terms. Under EXW, you take possession of your order at our warehouse in Hialeah, Florida, and you arrange your own international freight, insurance, and customs clearance. This gives experienced importers full control of their logistics and shipping costs.

How Much Fits in a Container

Planning a container load is the most common question we get from export buyers. As a general guide, a standard 20-foot container holds roughly 800 five-gallon pails, 74 fifty-five-gallon drums, or 16 totes, depending on the product and packaging. For bulk liquid, an ISO tank holds approximately 6,300 gallons.

Minimum Order and Payment

The minimum export order is 1,250 US dollars. Export orders are prepared after payment clears, by wire transfer or Zelle. Our bilingual team prepares the commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin you need for smooth customs clearance.

How to Order for Export

Send your product list and destination country to our export desk and we will return a competitive EXW Miami quote. Call 305-825-2788 or email Info@aoilw.com to get started.
