TekStar R&O AW Hydraulic Oil ISO 460 is a rust- and oxidation-inhibited, ashless anti-wear hydraulic fluid for hydraulic systems, turbines, compressors, lightly loaded gear cases, and circulation systems. It resists sludge and oxidation, protects against wear, and stays chemically and thermally stable, exceeding Cincinnati Milacron P-38, P-54, P-55, and P-57, Denison HF-1, U.S. Steel 126, and GE 32568 requirements. ISO VG 46 is the workhorse industrial grade and the one most shop presses, lifts, and machine tools call for, which makes it the hydraulic oil worth stocking deep. Match the ISO grade the pump manufacturer specifies, since running too heavy starves the pump and too light drops film strength.
